St. Kevin’s Old Boys Football Club are very fortunate to be able field two SKOB Saints sides in the newly created Women’s VAFA competition in 2017.

The SKOB Saints were formed in 2016 and played finals in division 3 of VWFL in their inaugural year. SKOB sees the Saints coaching roles as an integral part of our coaching group which includes ex AFLs tars Shannon Grant, Michael Christian, Jess Sinclair and Tom Williams.

Summer Athletics Invitation - St Kevin's Amateur Athletics Club

All SKOB Saints are invited to participate in some summer athletics training to help you prepare for the football season in 2017.

The club offers all Saints players the opportunity to work on base fitness in the "off season".

You can avail yourself of structured training programs – all for no cost. Only pay (a small amount) if you want to compete.

Remember – all standards are catered for. By doing some running in the off season you will hit 2017 ready to take "the next step".

Training is at SKC ovals on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:00pm.

A note from SKAAC President - Peter McGarry

As Club President, I can give a personal guarantee that you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy (&fun) the sport of athletics is. Training is relatively short, never much longer than 45-60 minutes and the benefits for your football will be huge. There will be new events to try should you wish, and a chance to maintain the fitness you worked so hard to achieve during your magnificent debut season in 2016.

St. Kevin's Athletics Club (SKAAC) was so impressed with what each of you did for the SKOB Saints in 2016, and the huge influence you have been around the SKOB Football Club.

I am sure you will have just as much impact in the athletics field as you did on the football field.

All that is needed is for some of you to take the step and get involved – if you do you'll never look back.

Training is at SKC ovals on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:00pm.
